Assistant Branch Manager - Henley

We have a vacancy for an Assistant Manager at our Henley Branch

This is a key role in assisting with the day to day management of the branch, working with your Branch Manager and Area Managers to continually improve the profitable sales and margins within the branch, as well as developing a highly customer focused, results driven team.

The Role

Manage an effective Plumbing and Heating branch, whilst leading in the absence of the Branch Manager

Demonstrate a good working knowledge of P&H products, communication skills and self-discipline

Manage specific product pricing

Maintain working relationship with customers and suppliers

Merchandising P&H shop floor area

Training and developing staff for effective customer service

Any other duties deemed reasonable within the scope of the job role

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have previous experience within the plumbers' merchants industry

Ability to demonstrate proven leadership skills in a competitive sector

 Excellent communication and administration skills are also essential

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 07.30am -5pm and alternate Saturdays 8am -12pm

Showroom Manager - Henley

We are looking to appoint a Showroom Manager at our Henley Branch

Playing a key role in the showroom, your responsibilities will range from greeting customers and presenting the range of products, through to pricing.

Ensuring that you and the team deliver a first class customer experience from start to finish, you will also be responsible for customer networking.

We are looking for a person that drives for excellent sales, through exceptional service to our customers every time, with a smile on their face.

The Role

Day to day you’ll be the proud leader of the showroom, you’ll have the experience and knowledge to manage and maximise performance; ensuring targets are always hit, if not exceeded.

Resolving any customer queries or concerns

Effectively increasing profitable sales opportunities through correct pricing and merchandising in-line with company policy.

Always looking for opportunities to enhance the sales and customer experience in the branch

Ensuring up to date knowledge of local competitors so we can continue to offer our customers competitive products and deals.

Achieving margin targets and driving commissionable earnings.

Managing any showroom administration/ad hoc duties under the Branch Manager

Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills as this will be a customer facing role

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 8am -12pm

Package

Salary £20,000-£25,000 depending on experience
